Omg, hey! I just realized I never had the opportunity to do an intro blog and properly tell you all a little bit about me and why I’m doing this.
So, let’s start here!
Who am I?
Let me introduce myself.
Hi my name is Ezey. Right now, I’m 21 years old with my birthday is June 9th #Gemini sun with a Libra moon and rising (I think!).

I’m a senior at Tufts University studying Cognitive and Brain Science and Computer Science, but honestly, I have no idea how I want todo post grad. (shhh)
One thing about me is that I want to experience life to the fullest. I don’t know why I was placed on this earth, but I want to take full advantage of it—doing everything I possibly can to enjoy life and understand who I am as an individual. And so far, I’m slowly but surely figuring it out.
I’m really an open book. I’m an empathetic person who deeply values emotions and memories. One of my biggest fears is forgetting my memories—not knowing how I lived my life. I want to be able to look back when I’m 60 or 70 and cherish all the moments I’ve had, while also fully enjoying the experiences I’m in now and will be in the future.
I want to be happy. I want to share happiness. I want to explore the world and see what’s out there because there is so much.
My journey
I grew up in Houston, Texas, and lived there for 18 years. Most of the people I knew, I had known since elementary or middle school, and I didn’t really leave the city much. The airport was an hour away, and driving anywhere took at least 30 minutes. But I still found ways to enjoy life.
When I got into Tufts University through the QuestBridge Match Scholarship, I had the opportunity to experience something completely new. I moved to a new city, Boston, by myself, with the intention of truly getting in touch with myself, discovering who I am, and making a name for myself. And now, as a senior looking back, I think I really did it.

A lot of my friends and even my professors see me as someone who is constantly doing something—always finding a way to balance my professional, academic, and social life (even though, lowkey, I be stressed). But hey, I’m doing the best I can! People see me as someone who truly takes advantage of life’s experiences, almost like watching a movie unfold. It’s an amazing feeling to know that not only do I feel this within myself, but that others can see it in my energy and personality too.
Ugh, and whenever someone compliments my energy, it’s the absolute sweetest thing. I’m sappy asf!
Outside of classes and travel, I love to perform, I am on the COCOA Nigerian Dance Team and Tufts Dance Collective for fun. As well at the Eco Arts Social Chair where i just host cutsey bonding events. I also honestly love being busy and on the go. My week encapsulates so much from classes and office hours, to remote internship and work study, to dance practices, to fun social events like today Im doing a Crepe making with my schools social club as well as making my own hair products with NSBE, as well as pursuing my passion projects like this blog of course and UGC! It is always a day for me!
With all things being said, as of now I am starting this blog
- To share my experiences and knowledge of travel and how to live life to the fullest with others who are looking to truly learn how to embrace life.
- To create a community of like-minded people who love to connect with others and make memories to look back on.
- To have a personal journey journal to document my mems, so that I can look back and read this in my old age and reminisce on what I was doing in my 20s.
What are ways that you embrace life? Do you like documenting it? Maybe through videos, pictures, posts, journaling, blogging?

I can’t wait to share this journey with you all—let’s make some unforgettable memories together!
And let me know what you all would like to see and know more about?
Alright enjoy your week and remember to embrace living!
